We stole one from the weather gods today – supposed to be windy come midday but it was slick calm all day long.

The trout eluded us this morning as we were literally eaten alive by citation-sized dinosaur lizardfish. After a few small flounder and missed redfish strikes, we finally got in the area of a school of drum before a couple of oblivious mullet netters did donuts in the area. They meant no harm, but some people need to recognize that if their heritage is really important to them they need to be respectful of others who frequent these waters.

We ended the day finding a school of reds and, as always, sue caught the biggest. We landed a couple on top waters and called it a day….man it wa beautiful out there today!
