Today I fished with Sharon and Paula, who wanted to learn a little more about our inshore fishery. We had a GREAT time together today, and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure being on the water with them. With so many nice groups of people in a row…no wonder I am in such a great mood!

We started off with a little spanish and bluefish fishing – catching a few and then moved on to fishing a few creeks…and then on to do a little sheepshead and black drum fishing. We didn’t find any black drum today – but the sheepshead were definitely biting! A couple of bulkheads were HOT in the ripping tide and we got a lot of bites and landed some very nice fish – with both Sharon and Paula landing a 7lb’r!! Fantastic!!! Sheepies of that size are so hard to land when fishing hard structure, and we got each fish in – AWESOME!

We ended the day throwing a few mud-minnows around a couple of other docks and quickly caught an 18″ red drum! Great day y’all!!
