I had an inkling that with the cold front and nice NE Blow that my favorite buddies – the false albacore – would be back on the beaches. I walked out on the beach to take a look at the surf and low and behold – their were alberts right behind the surf line.

I found many pods off of the beaches and they were in full fall swing – eating big silversides and other baitfish. I landed three in an hour and headed back to the slip. All the fish were 10-12lb class with a some pods of larger fish here and there.

The nearshore ocean is calm and the water is really clearing up – the NE wind produces a serious bite. Anglers could have a shot at big kings, flounder, albies, drum and trout all in one day! Albies and blues busting, kings skying…bait everywhere…THIS is FALL FISHING!

Now this is an amazing sunset…
